$3,000 Bonus Qualifications: Deposit $500,000 or more from a source outside of Webster Bank (“new money minimum”) into a new or existing Private Checking account and have qualifying direct deposits totaling $1,000 or more made to this account during the statement cycle and maintain ≥ $500,000 in average daily balances during the statement cycle. Each statement cycle that you satisfy these conditions, you will receive a payout amount of $1,500 with a maximum of $3,000.

Once you deposit the new money minimum related to the tier you have selected, you are locked into that tier, and if the average daily balance falls below the amount required for that tier, you will not receive a cash bonus payment.

You will not be enrolled until you have deposited the new money minimum for the applicable tier, as confirmed by Webster Bank. This offer is valid for up to the first three statement cycles after you have been enrolled. If the promotional qualifications are met, as confirmed by Webster, the cash bonus payment will be paid on the last day of the evaluated statement cycle. Cash bonus will be reported as income on IRS Form 1099-INT. Offer is available on one (1) Private Checking account per client and cannot be combined with other offers. A “Qualifying Direct Deposit” is an Automated Clearing House (ACH) credit from your employer or the government for your paycheck, pension or governmental benefits (such as Social Security). It does not include transfers from one account to another or person to person payments made through services such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App and Google Pay.

Private Checking. Minimum opening deposit of $25 is required. You can avoid the $30 monthly maintenance fee by keeping $25,000 in checking or $50,000 combined deposit balances, including CD’s, OR $100,000 in investment balances (Please note: it can take 14 days for balances of new or previously unlinked LPL accounts to be included).

Private Checking earns interest and is a tiered rate product. The APY (Annual Percentage Yield) is accurate as of 1/2/2025. The APY on balances between $0 and $49,999 is 0.01%, balances between $50,000-$99,999 is 0.01%, balances between $100,000- $249,999 is 0.01%, balances between $250,000-$499,999 is 0.01%, balances $500,000 or greater is 0.01%.
